It listens for the passage your preacher names.
Speech recognition runs on your own machine — never uploaded, never in the cloud. The reference appears in a rail beside the open chapter. One key promotes it to preview, another sends it live.
And when the preacher is only telling a story, it stays exactly like this. That is the hard part, and the reason we build it this way.
“Half the words in the Bible's table of contents are ordinary English — mark, acts, job, numbers, judges, kings. Nothing can tell that will mark three decades from a citation except the fact that somebody framed one. So that is the only thing Stage acts on.”
Putting a passage up by itself is off until your church turns it on — and even then it waits three visible seconds so a person can veto it, stands down the moment the operator touches the desk, and will not fire into a blackout. The desk always wins.

Stage has to replace what your church already uses on Sunday morning before anything clever matters. That is the part we built first, and the part you will judge us on.

Sunday, laid out before Sunday
Build the service in named, colour-coded sections and drag items between them. It reloads exactly as you left it next week, and an accidental delete is one undo away.

Type the reference, get the passage
Jn 3:16-18 or Rom 8 resolves as you type. Walk a chapter, search by phrase, and choose how the reference and translation appear on the wall. King James and the World English Bible, both compiled into the app so they work with no internet.

Every screen its own job
Audience, stage display and stream, each driven by a native GPU compositor at real fullscreen — so no taskbar ever appears mid-worship. The stream output publishes over NDI into OBS or vMix.

Moving across
Built to be the thing you switch to.
Nobody changes presentation software mid-season for a feature list. They change when moving is cheap and Sunday still works.
Bring your songs with you
Point Stage at an existing EasyWorship library and it imports the songs — with a review step before anything is written, duplicate detection, and a full undo if you don't like the result. Songs only: themes, backgrounds and schedules stay behind, and the report tells you exactly what didn't come.
The internet is not a dependency
Scripture is compiled into the app rather than fetched. Your songs, plans and settings live on your machine. There is no account to sign into on Sunday, no sync to wait for, and nothing that fails because the router did.
It feeds your stream, it doesn't replace it
Stage is not a streaming switcher and we're not pretending otherwise — no scenes, no recording, no camera input. What it does is publish any of its outputs to OBS or vMix over NDI, so your stream team keeps the tool they know and gets a clean feed for it.

Speech recognition runs on your machine. The shipping build has no cloud path at all.

No translation we don't have rights to
King James and the World English Bible today. We will not ship NIV, ESV or NKJV without an agreement.
Be on it when the first Windows build ships.
