Delete your Fellowr account
You can delete your account and its data at any time, without asking us. This page explains how, exactly what goes, and the one case where we have to do it for you.
In the app — the fastest way
Open Fellowr, go to Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.
By email — if you no longer have the app
Email hello@innovelox.org from the address on your account, with “Delete my account” in the subject. You do not need to reinstall anything. We confirm it is you, delete the account, and write back to tell you it is done — within 30 days, and usually within one business day.
If you run a church on Fellowr
The app will stop you, on purpose. Deleting your account would take a church’s own records with it, so we do not let that happen by accident. You will see this if you are a church’s owner, or if you have recorded giving, created a donation batch, recorded an expense, or written a blog post for a church.
Transfer ownership or delete the church first and the in-app route will work. If you would rather we sorted it out, email hello@innovelox.org and we will separate your personal data from the church’s books for you.
What gets deleted
Everything below is removed permanently. There is no recovery window and no archived copy — if you want the account back afterwards, you sign up again from scratch.
- Your profile — name, email address, phone number and photo
- Your comments, reactions and bookmarks
- Your event registrations and tickets
- The churches you follow, and your notification preferences
- Your Google and Apple sign-in links (Apple tokens are revoked)
- Your sign-in history
What we keep, and why
Security audit records
We keep the entries so the church can still see that an action happened, but your name, email and user ID are stripped out. Nothing left behind identifies you.
Giving records held by a church
A donation belongs to the church's own books, not to your account. If you have recorded giving, batches or expenses for a church, we handle the deletion by hand so those books stay intact — email us and we will take care of it.
Our Privacy Policy covers how we handle your data generally, including while your account is still open.
